NSSO: Land and Livestock

The collection contains State-, Region-, Year- and Season-wise historically compiled data from National Sample Survey Organization's (NSS/NSSO) reports on the subject of land and livestock in India. The specifics of data in the collection include distribution and ownership of agricultural lands among households, estimated area over which agricultural lands were put into agricultural use, the different agricultural and non-agricultural uses for which agricultural lands were used, extent of agricultural lands leased-in and leased-out by households, major sources of irrigation for agricultural lands, the extent of agricultural lands lands covered under irrigation and non-irrigation facilities and on other pertinent aspects and issues related to the subject of Land and Livestock. The coverage of data is from the year 2002 to 2019 (until the publication of latest report)
