NSSO: Drinking Water

The collection contains Year-, State-, Region-, Social-group- and Gender-wise historically compiled data from National Sample Survey Organization (NSSO/NSS) reports on the subject of Drinking Water in India. The specifics of data covered in the datasets include the different types of principal and supplementary sources of drinking and water, the different types of access and usages such as exclusive, community and other types of access and usage of drinking water, households with insufficient drinking water, the distance between the household dwelling places and different sources of drinking water, different methods by which drinking water is treated/filtered, the types of containers used for storing drinking water, the different types of access and usage of bathrooms, etc. The coverage of data is from the year 1993 to the 2019 (until the publication of latest report)
