Budgeted Expenditure on Education

This collection contains All-India, state-wise, year-wise, sector-wise, and ministry-wise data on budgeted public expenditure on education and training in India. It covers expenditure by State and Central Governments across Revenue and Capital Accounts, Loans and Advances, and includes Education and Other Departments. The collection provides expenditure data for elementary, secondary, adult, general, language, technical, and university education, along with education and training under formal and informal categories. It also includes education expenditure as a percentage of GDP, state budgets and GSDP, Centre and State budget provisions, and ministry-wise allocations, enabling analysis of trends, priorities, and the share of public spending on education.
