The Human Trafficking in India collection, based on National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB) data, provides comprehensive statistics on human trafficking cases, victims, rescue operations, purposes of trafficking, and police and court disposal. The collection covers crime head wise and state wise cases, crime and chargesheet rates, persons arrested and their disposal, victims trafficked and rescued by age, gender and nationality, and the number of Police Districts and Anti Human Trafficking Units. It also includes trafficking purposes such as forced labour, forced marriage, domestic servitude, sexual exploitation, child pornography, begging, drug peddling, petty crimes, and removal of organs, enabling analysis of the scale, patterns, victims, and institutional response to human trafficking in India.
