This collection brings together datasets from the Time Use Survey (TUS) that examine how individuals spend their time each day. It provides participation rates and average time spent per person or per participant across key activity groups, including employment and related work, production for own use, unpaid domestic and volunteer work, learning, social and community participation, cultural and leisure activities, and self-care. The dataset also distinguishes between SNA and Non-SNA production activities. Activities within the System of National Accounts (SNA) production boundary are classified as SNA production, those outside this boundary but within the general production boundary are treated as Non-SNA production, and all remaining activities are grouped as residual activities. Datasets are available for both major activity status and all recorded activities within time slots, with detailed breakdowns by age group, activity type, and at national and state levels.
